APPLY FOR SUBSIDIZED HOUSING

Applicants may pick up an application from our office, either from inside or from the two boxes on the brick wall outside the front doors.  Alternatively, clicking the green button below will download a PDF file that you are able to fill out on your phone or computer.  You may also print the application and fill it out by hand.  Once you have completed the application, you may do one of the following: 

  • Hand it in to someone at our office, or place it in the black drop box outside our front doors

  • Email it to ahoward@stauntonrha.org

  • Mail it to 900 Elizabeth Miller Gardens, Staunton, VA 24401

  • Fax it to 540-885-5414

APPLY ONLINE USING OUR APPLICANT PORTAL

You may also apply for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program or the Project Based Voucher (PBV) program by visiting our online portal and completing the application process online.  You will need a valid email address to apply using this method.  

IMPORTANT: We cannot yet accept applications for the Multifamily Program through the online portal.  This is due to a software issue.  We are working to fix this problem, and we will update the website as soon as possible.  If you wish to apply for the Multifamily Apartments, please use one of the methods listed above.

Instructions for New Applicants: 

  1. Click on "Applicant Login" at the top of the screen.

  2. Scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on "Click here to register." 

  3. Choose whether you do or do not have a registration code.  A code is not required to apply. 

  4. Fill out the information to complete creation of your account, then log in.
