The Project Based Voucher (PBV) program is the newest program offered by SRHA. Unlike the Housing Choice Voucher program where vouchers are portable, PBV vouchers are tied to specific apartment buildings. Qualified applicants receive assistance at designated properties in our service area.
SRHA currently partners with two properties:
- Mountain Laurel III
- Middlebrook Trace
- Middlebrook Trace II
IMPORTANT: This program currently only offers 3-bedroom units.
PBV Program Benefits:
- No need to search for housing - units are pre-approved
- Same tenant protections as HCV program
- Opportunity to transfer to tenant-based voucher after one year of occupancy (subject to availability)
